The Volu-Matic^® V is a dual purpose machine. It has all the features and capabilities of the remarkable Volu-Matic III for attic work PLUS the ability to spray and recycle approved products into interior sidewalls.

Take a Volu-Matic III… add a high pressure, low CFM vacuum pump driven through an electric clutch by the machine’s power source… a material deceleration box… a built-in water pump… an expanded hopper… and you have the Volu-Matic V.

After arriving at the job site and loading the special oversize hopper with sprayable insulation, two hoses are taken into the house, one delivery hose and one recycle return hose. The delivery hose uses a water nozzle to dampen the insulation and activate the adhesive.

The process is started by depressing a switch on the remote control cord or a button on the radio remote transmitter. The wall cavities are sprayed to a level slightly higher than the studs. The excess material is removed to the stud depth by a special scrubber and then is vacuumed through the vacuum hose back into the hopper for remix into the blend.

Unisul’s proprietary custom vacuum system produces more vacuum and less air movement, resulting in less fiber fly in the hopper and truck. Since the vacuum system is part of the machine, no additional labor is required to set up the system on the job site.
